Overview[edit]

The Raijin is average for an interceptor, but borders on the quick side.

Background[edit]

The Raijin is the interceptor-class of the pirate faction, the Yaki.

Variants[edit]

Raijin[edit]

Not featuring any fancy title, the basic version of the ship is the standard by which other variants are measured.

Raijin Raider[edit]

Raider variants are faster and usually have a higher shield generator power than their regular counterparts, but trade off cargo capacity and some have reduced shield capacity despite the more powerful generator.

Raijin Sentinel[edit]

Sentinel variants of ships tend to be slower, but with higher total shield capacity. Sometimes the shield class is also upgraded for instance from 25 MJ to 200 MJ.

Physical Characteristics[edit]

The Raijin is based on the Paranid Pericles.

Combat[edit]

The ability to mount the PBE can give this ship an edge in combat, however it is incapable of powering a full loadout and more commonly the PAC is utilised.

Equipment[edit]

Missiles

Availability[edit]

The Raijin is available from the Yaki shipyard in Senator's Badlands on the acquisition of appropriate Yaki rep.
