Do we normally include Trivia? If so, it might be worth mentioning that it was likely named after the "real" Carrack Cruisers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrack
Also, that in Star Wars they had Carrack-class Light Cruisers, which often acted as escorts for Dreadnoughts and similar: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Carrack-class_light_cruiser
